    You feel sorry for the airplane.

    That is because you are crazy.

    With the cost of aircraft parts though, you have to wonder what the total value of all the salvageable bits are worth if individually sold off.

    the way the right float is bent, it almost looks like it impacted a lot more vertically than just skipping across a sandbar. I wonder if the pilot saw it coming and made a hail-mary attempt to get airborne and ended up stalling it down onto the sandbar.
